Results Overlays The term Results in Graphic Groundwater refers to model output. A Results overlay is one that has a value for each active or constant head cell in the grid. Unlike the overlays discussed above, Results overlays are accessed with the Results menu, and may include (depending on the choices made in the Output Control Preferences window): Head Drawdown Flow Across Cell Faces Right Front Lower Flow into Storage Flow into Constant Head Cells Flow into Stress Cells Drains Evapotranspiration General Head Cells Recharge Rivers Wells In transient models, the Results Overlay window Period and Step (time step) drop down lists and a Finished button. Steady state models only have the Finished button. You cannot modify the values in a Results overlay. You can copy the values, however, to paste into other overlays or other programs. You can also export the overlay values. If you request cell status results (in the Output Control Preferences window) and display any Results overlay, Graphic Groundwater will indicate cells that went dry during a simulation with a red border.
