Reduce The Reduce button changes the mouse pointer to a magnifying glass with a negative sign in its center. If you then click anywhere in the Model window, Graphic Groundwater will reduce the image by the factor set in the View Preferences window. The grid will shift, so that the (x,y) coordinate of the point beneath the negative sign becomes the center of the screen. It is this shift in the grid position that makes the results of reducing an image through this process different than reducing the image with the Reduce command under the View menu. To return to the standard mouse pointer, you again click on the Reduce button.
