Move Grid

Moving a grid shifts its position relative to the background image and its original position. All grids begin 10 pixels from the left and top edges of the Model window. Click on the Move Grid command under the Edit menu. The Move Grid window will appear. Enter in the increment, in the same units you have previously set for the scale, that you would like to shift the grid horizontally and vertically, then click on the Move Grid command. The grid will immediately shift. You can repeat the process as often as you like to refine the location of the grid relative to a background image. A grid must already exist in order to use the Move Grid window. Moving a grid works at any magnification, whereas offsetting a grid works best when the entire grid (or most of the grid) is visible. Therefore, the Move Grid window is very useful when you want to fine tune the location of a grid.
